ABOUT ME

Hello Again…as you may know, my name is Jamie. Currently I work for the New York Public Library in the Stephen A. Schwarzman Building in Manhattan. I really love my job. I enjoy speaking with the public and offering assistance to Library Researchers of all ages. I work in the Interlibrary Loan and Document Section. Much of my time is devoted to perusing old books, documents and microfilm for researchers around the world, wishing to access the vast amounts of research data possessed by the NYPL. In addition to my work at the NYPL I attend graduate classes at the Queens College Graduate School of Library and Information Science . I am working towards my Masters Degree. Once I graduate I expect to continue my work at the NYPL and to pursue my interests in both history and writing. I would really like to welcome everyone to my page. I will do my best to try and keep you all interested in reading my posts. I have a varied amount of passions so there will be plenty to talk about.
